Rotarians help with packing

Kathi Millard, Pat Stephens, Elaine Yager, Tom Mickelson and Bob Allen help Global Partners pack for a trip to Nicaragua.

Global Partners aims to improve the overall health of the people and their communities in the Matagalpa region of Nicaragua by helping communities secure adequate nutrition, a clean water supply and safe housing. Part of their visit in November will provide comprehensive eye exams and glasses as appropriate to rural Nicaraguan populations who do not have access to this level of care.

Rotary East has supported Global Partners in a variety of ways. In fact, several Rotary East members have traveled to Nicaragua in the past. Tom Mickelson...pictured above...will be representing East on this trip.
