AC Riley Ringside
La Crosse East Gathers Ringside to Cheer-On New Member
by Tom Mickelson

Truth, Fairness, Goodwill, Friendships, and Beneficial are key words in the world of Rotary International. They are words that best describe who we are and what we stand for.  Gator Suplex, Short-Arm Forearm into Half-Straight Jacket Submission, Godsmack (Spinning Fireman’s Carry Stunner) are the key words in the world of AC Riley, Professional Wrestler, and newest member of the Rotary Club of La Crosse East. These describe Alex’s signature moves.  Soon, Alex will decide if his classification in the club will be as a Professional Wrestler or Volunteer Coordinator for the local Salvation Army!!

Riley is based out of La Crosse, WI and wrestles primarily for Wisconsin promotions such as River City Championship Wrestling (La Crosse, WI), Brew City Wrestling (West Allis, WI) and Wisconsin Professional Wrestling (De Pere, WI). He is currently looking to branch out more into Minnesota, Iowa, and Illinois. His goals in wrestling are to get on the road and wrestle as much as possible, as well as to wrestle in a country outside the United States, such as Canada or Germany.

A “cheering team” consisting of members from La Crosse East rallied around the wrestling ring at the American Legion on Friday evening, March 9, 2018 to spur Alex on.  Their presence was obviously felt, as several in the audience asked if they were related to Alex. Two were asked, “Are you Riley’s parents?”  The team even made signs to show support for "The Life of Riley.” Alex's next match in La Crosse will be on April 13th at the Legion.
