Member Satisfaction Survey & Questionnaire
We want to hear from you!

In preparation of the new Rotary year, two surveys were emailed to each club member by President-Elect Randy Van Rooyen.
If you have not yet completed the surveys, please do so by Friday, June 3.

The Member Satisfaction Survey will help the Board generate new ideas, shape goals, and suggest changes.  It'll tell us what's going well in our club and will spotlight areas for improvement.  The survey results are anonymous.

The Personal Questionnaire will help the Board identify our member's skills and strengths which will help with recruitment and other efforts.

Thank you!

Here's a super quick re-cap of the May programs:

May 2
Sonya Pennel, co-owner of Burn Boot Camp, shared why she is so passionate about fitness and her new business endeavor.  Read more about her story on the Burn Boot Camp website.

May 9
Major Jack Holloway visited during National Salvation Army Week and shared many interesting facts.
Did you know?
The Salvation Army operates in 127 countries.
The Salvation Army is the only family shelter in a 100 mile radius of La Crosse.
They're looking for a site for a second thrift store.
Check out their website for more info on volunteer opportunities.

May 16
La Crosse SOUP founder Andrew Londre told us about the monthly micro-granting and community building events.  Check out their Facebook Page for more info.
How SOUP works: $5 buys a bowl of soup, bread, and a vote.  Four people/groups pitch their ideas and people vote for the best idea.  The winner takes home the money and is "on their honor" to follow through with their idea.  Andrew was inspired by the "Start with Why" TED Talk - find a link to it here.

May 23
Educator Matt Weege and students Emma and Alethia spoke to the club about the Seven Rivers Community High School where students explore real-world problems and challenges through project-based learning.  Currently housed in the Hogan Administrative Center, the Charter school serves 32 students from as far north as Melrose-Mindoro to as far south as Desoto.  Their motto is "Own Your Education" - find out more by visiting their Facebook Page.
